How tall with Lift Kit and tires installed

Got a club car i am getting ready to lift and I need to see if it will clear my low garage door. I want to do a 6 inch lift and 22 or 23 inch tires. Cart has the standard top on it. Door opening is 80 inches tall and cart currently sits about 69 inches tall. Can I make it or am I going to have to remove the top.

yeah your going to be pretty close the lift and added tire size will bring you right up there. 23's with 6" probably tight. 22's and 5" close. To close to call?

If anyone else has ran into this issue, how do you make an easily removeable top that can just be pinned or quickly bolted on once rolled out the garage?

there may be a few other guys here with a better idea on what total height may be. Not real handy otherwise to take top on and off all the time.

Lesse, a good 6' lift kit WILL lift it 6", so if you go 22"-18" stock= 4" / 2 = 2" additional tire height so 69 + 6 + 2 = 77" Total new height. Should make it in.....

No problem getting in - You're not adding 11" to the cart. Most 6" lift kits are considering the larger tires IN the lift amount. Even if not, then the lift of 6" and 1/2 the tire size difference of 23 - 18 / 2 = 2.5" gives you an overall MAXIMIM lift of 8.5" at the top of the cart

No , I havnt bought the lift kit yet. I actually just bought the cart. I am still looking and researching the different kits and parts trying to find where the best buys are at.

Read around - "Best Buys" have cause many members here a lot of headaches... You should look for "Best kit for the money" and "best dealer support" in your search

I have parents with a "low" garage door, so when I first drove up to their house, I was very slow to go into that garage. After the 4" lift and 22" tires, I was super slow going in there the first time. I think I had 1.5" to spare. So, with a 6" lift and 22" or 23" tires, it wouldn't have gone it.

But then, going into their garage wasn't one of the priorities I had to think about when going for a lift kit and wheels/tires. I only visit them. I have plenty of room in my carport.
