Default Need help

My ride has 6 inch lift, my boys jumped something and broke the welded plated away from the front of the leaf springs. I made some brackets and bolted them to the frame in the same position as the welded ones. Now my rear end keeps sliding to the rear and rubbing my fenders. I have tightened all the bolts and it still slides. Any advise on what I can do? This is on an 03 club car.

Are you saying the rear is sliding on the springs or the whole springs are sliding?

Because your repair created a hinge point where ridgitity once was

THis is all I can imagine since you have provided no pictures of the damage or the repair and now ask us for advice? That's a stretch, NO?

I agree with scottyb on the welding, or you could look in to a nice long travel lift kit that will hold up to "the boys" and their antcs a little better
