Jakes lift
I was debating which lift to go with on an ezgo hunting cart. I have a pds with a drop axle but had never seen a spindle lift in person. I saw one today and i am going to try one. The spindle lift was stronger looking than I could tell in pictures. If any one else is trying to decide, go look at one on a cart before deciding.

Re: Jakes lift
The only thing I don't like is the post 2001.5 ezgo's have an axle that is not boxed, seen allot of bent one's, so don't know about the strain that would be on it with a spindle lift.

Re: Jakes lift
Then you're all set, although here's a deal on a dropped axle.

Re: Jakes lift
Our Jake's spindles are made of ductile iron. This is 3x stronger than grey iron. Ductile iron is the same material used for Class A motor homes and 18 wheel tractor trailers. Our spindles also come pre-drilled to accept our Jake's hydraulic front brake kits. Is your cart a Medalist/TXT or a Marathon?

Re: Jakes lift
Personally I don't think anyone could go wrong with a Jake's lift. I've never ever heard anyone say anything negative about them. They've always come highly recommended from everyone I know and give a great ride.

Re: Jakes lift
Jakes spindle is the only way to go, I have bought a lot of the Chinese spindle lift kits in the past and have seen a few of them actually have the spindles broken clean off, have yet to see a jakes do that, I have bent a tie-rod bracket on the jakes spindle, but scottyb was beating the crap out of the cart, so it was not jakes prob, the newer style C channel ezgo front axles do bend a lot, the older style boxed front axles are the way to go, so your 94 would be perfect.

Re: Jakes lift
No problem with mine. Rides great and is extremely quiet compared to some others I've been around.
