New 6 Seat Cart Purchase. Which Brand?
I'm looking to upgrade from my old Club Car and want a 6 passenger gas model. I've looked at info on the EZ-GO ST Express and a Yamaha G16. Which brand has a quieter engine, more reliable and will be easier to do mod after my warranty runs out? Or any other general pros and cons between the two.

The ST Express is an awesome machine! 13hp Kawasaki motor, already lifted with aluminum wheels, brush guard and full light package!

Yeah, they are pretty cool setup from the factory. I read they were pretty loud compared to the Yamaha cart and that some were able to get more speed out of the Yamaha engine. I've also read on here today about the cable adjustments on the Kawi that gets it into the 20mph range.

Black with Black top & 13hp Kawi. I thought it looked pretty good for what I've seen online.

Where is this at? Make sure you don't get hit up with a setup charge or factory shipping charge once you are there. That price is almost too good to be true....

I'd bet money it can go faster than 20mph. 20mph is like the stardard reply from a dealer cause of government regs. Mike probably won't say exactly how fast beings he's a ezgo dealer, there's probably legal reasons he can't. i'd be guessing closer to 30mph with rounding and all.

Re: New 6 Seat Cart Purchase. Which Brand?
It's in Alabama, about 4 hours from me. He said he would deliver for $200, it would cost me $100 to pick it up with my truck and trailer. He only has three in stock and the wife wants to see if he can get a white one... So I'll see how that goes.
Ruredy, my buddy that has one said he adjusted the throttle cable and it made a huge difference in his speed. |
