Default My cart build...

first post to this site, so nice to me all ya guys

this is my senior project for school, im 17 and live in washington. always wanted something cool to drive around at the motocross track so the winter was the best time for me to get this thing going. picked it up at the end of summer for 200$ and well, went to work
it has a 200cc honda quad engine. the only thing i have bought so far are the wheels and fuel pump, other than that i have just used spare stuff around the garage and welded some stuff up. what do ya think?

1st day

Hi Kevin. Now thats a sweet deal. Looks good. Could you post some pics of your engine setup. Did you use the golf cart rear axle?

the cart runs great. working on getting some cool exhaust from my 250f on it right now. yes i used the stock axle shafts, but ditched everything else. the shocks mount to the axle tube so it was kind of tricky unless i wanted to make new shock mounts. i ended up getting a 1/4" thick tubing and sleeving the two stock axle shafts, putting a very strong weld on both sides and have not had a problem with it. for the hub i created one. ill post some pictures once its all back together, took it apart to check it all before i turn it in... keep in mind this is a budget build so i might not have done it all the "right" way but it still works great
