2002 Club DS-I want to lift it. What kit?
I am at a total loss to what to buy. I know nothing. I want to use present stock wheels for now but have the ability to put some knobs on it in the future without it messing with the new lift I am installing.
What kit do you recommend as a DIY and at the least cost. I use the cart at my marina as a beer transportation vehicle and beach bum cart. I do not plan on off roading. It will be mostly for looks. Is this a good start? If not, what is better? Thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/Club-Car-DS-Golf...#ht_3372wt_941 |

Just did mine with a "mini" 3" lift. First cart I ever did, used Jake's based on this site recommendations. Easy install and had to adjust toe when done.
Put 205/65/10 underneath.... I like how it looks, but I may be a bit biased |

A lift kit is not something you should be looking for the "least cost". For safety reasons, suspension is not the place to cut corners. Remember, if you think it's cheap, there is a reason it's cheap.

IMHO there should be no need to be cutting your frame to install a small lift kit. Look elsewhere, like Jakes!

Wonderful news guys! I will check out Jakes. I also like both of the options shown.

JAKES is all that and when you go for the disc brakes you dont have to modify or get someone to modify the front spindles.they are setup to accept the brake kit!awesome wishin i had gone that route on my 2001cc.

I am skeptical by nature. I assume everything is wrong, until proven to be right. I have to admit when I recieved the long travel Jake's lift from a site sponsor, I was very impressd by the design and quality of construction! I do believe you can't go wrong by choosing one of thier kits.
