Shocks for Hyundai
Anybody know of a set of shocks that are interchangeable on the Hyundai. A lot of people say it's a Yamaha knock-off. Will the shocks interchange? I have put a rear seat from a G2 on but when two adults sit back there it makes the front light and squats in the rear.

Re: Shocks for Hyundai
seems like you need some heavy duty shocks. you could use quad shocks which is pretty popular.

Re: Shocks for Hyundai
Do you have any idea quad shock from what quad? I just got a message from a buddy that said the Yamaha G2 shocks are a direct match. Then I looked up the price...$150.00 each. That's a little ridiculous. I only paid $800 for the whole cart 3 years ago.

Re: Shocks for Hyundai
400ex shocks will work. I am a pair in the for sale section on here, just so happens. I couldnt use them long since I went with a larger lift...7" total.

Re: Shocks for Hyundai
Sounds like a spring issue rather than shocks. HD springs are normally suggested when adding a rear seat.

The HD springs are ruff though if you ride alone! Im trying to find something better myself. Just cant find anything someone else has used and can say they work good without spending 250+

Re: Shocks for Hyundai
i had to resort to air shocks due to lift and rear seating. still trying to get used to the air adjustability, but that will come with time.

Re: Shocks for Hyundai
shocks should mount fine. i believe they are 15.5" from eyelet to eyelet, but they are also adjustable.
