I built a a mini dune buggy a couple of years back that was much like ur project it started life out as a Manco go kart (intrududer II ) and ended up with a solid axle rear on a beefed up swing arm and a hondamatick 400 the thing was a beast I clocked it at 90 mph I alwayse wanted to do that to my P.O.S. golf cart just no time. I still have the motor in my garage (It smiles at me everytime I look at it) what do you plan to do for reverse?

Man Rifter, Im new to the board but I got to say way to go on everything you have done so far. That is going to be one heck of a cart. Tell me is that a G1 your re-doing? Good luck on it and when you get it going please do yourself a big favor and build yourself one heck of a tough roll cage.

Oh yes I am building a rollcage, I have some 1 inch DOM tubing just for the cage. I have the engine just about mounted in the swing arm, there are 8 attach points, I should have it put together tonight, everything is just tacked right now, then I'll remove the engine and weld it out. And to answer about reverse, uuuh turn the wheel and romp it?? Have no reverse, I've tried to find a reverse gear box that I could run the chain to and jack shaft to the axle, but nothing yet. I can always change it if I find one.
