Wide tires on EZGO TXT
I am looking at getting some 22x12.50 tires for 10x8 wheels with 3+5 offset. Would these be too wide and rub with a 5" lift on EZGO TXT electric? I have 22x10 Trail Wolfs now, just looking for a different tire for another build.

Re: Wide tires on EZGO TXT
I have 3 txt's. One with 22x11.00 swamp fox, 24x11.00 carlise strykers and 20x10.00 that i forget the brand. 2 of the carts have 5x2 back spacing and the other has stock rims with spacers. None of my carts would work without rubbing on the inside with more than 2 inches of backspacing. All my carts have 4 inch lift.

Re: Wide tires on EZGO TXT
They would rub on the rear you think? I could get 10x7 with 2+5 offset. I can get a smoking deal on these tires for $18 a piece is why I want them to work. Although, I would hate to run spacers with offset wheels.

Re: Wide tires on EZGO TXT
I have 24x11x10's on my txt (5" lift) and think they are too wide for the front, 12.5's?? guess a matter of taste.

2x5 offset rims should work great.
I have to run spacers only on the stock rims. They are 3x4 |

Re: Wide tires on EZGO TXT
Those sure do look wide. I probably will just do 12" wheels and 23" tires then. I could just save some $ by going with the 22x12.50.

Re: Wide tires on EZGO TXT
Yeh, I think they would look good. They would probably be too wide to use though. I wish I could confirm that the 12.50" will fit on the TXT with 2+5 backspacing. That will save me about $200-$300 on tires.

Re: Wide tires on EZGO TXT
I would use them on the rear but not on the front, I will probably get a pair for the rear of mine to use at the beach. Have you emailed them about these, they told me shipping would be $120 freight no matter how many u buy...............

Re: Wide tires on EZGO TXT
The 22x12.50 TSL's are some awesome mud/trail tires. Nicest riding mud tires I have ever used. They probably will rub your brake cables though. Here are pics of them on a cart. I didn't have any problems running them on this CC but it also had wheel spacers.
