Default Water

Hey yall,
I got a issuse to discuss with you. How do i get the cart to keep going in the water? I dont have wheel wells anymore so i assume even if the belt doesnt get emerged in water the tires are spitting up water onto it. I need to figure out away to fix this.... I've heard about a ribbed cover for my Comet, but I'm not sure on what to do.... Thanks for the help!!

I've been thinking about the same thing. I see all the pictures of guys running through water and wondering how they are able to keep going when I know there belt has got to be dripping wet. I'm in the frame up build stage right now and would like to add some type of shielding around the belt. Hope to see some pictures if any one has fabbed something up.

i have the same problem with my g9 and was wondering the same thing. if i drive through 6-8" of water it starts to slip and i stop. my belt is shot so maybe that has something to do with it and i haven't installed my power spring yet, will this help? i imagine if i built a guard all around the clutches they would overheat?

When my belt is wet the cart will still move, just not as well. I have no guard.

The guard would have to be water tight so it couldn't trap water inside.

I have a 24 hp Honda and if I stay in the water for any length of time it will stop or throw the belt. A guard thats water tight is the only thing that will help.
