Default DIY CC lift

Does anyone on here have some suggestions on how to make a small(1" or 2" maybe 3") lift on a 06 CC DS? I have future plans 2 do a 8" lift and 25" tires but untill I can save up an extra $1000 I wanted to try and make a small lift myself (tired of having a stock looking cart HAHA) I was just wonderin if anybody had done this already or have any suggestions for a small Do It Yourself lift kit? any help would be appericated! Thanks

When I got my EZGO it had a backyard lift on it. It worked well for the 2 years I used it and finally bought a long travel. Only costs time and small piece of scrap metal. Cut the ends off your axle weld in a piece of scrap and weld ends back on. Flip the rear. Of course that is if the CC is made similar to an EZGO. I don't know much about the CCs. Maybe help with an idea though.

thanks....i prefer to put my gussets below centerline of the wheel so the pry is still pushing the gusset up into the axel thus making it a bit stronger

I don't believe that EZGO method works on CC's. Mine is an '05. I used 1/4 wall 2x2 tubing for a block between the front leaf and the frame, got longer bolts, did an alignment and called it a day. I have an 1/4" aluminum plate that I'll probably add as well, (I'm waiting for funds for a 6" lift myself). I don't have a pic now, as I'm at work.
I can shoot one tonight and add to the post when I get home though.

I will get them up soon, I promise. I'll get a few shot's tonight when I get home and post them tonight or tomorrow morning.

Black Death, my hours changed again, I have one day off a week now......on 12's! I haven't fixed it yet, been too busy with the other stuff life throws at you. I have ordered and recieved my new tires, and am about 80% done with my prerunner front bumper I only started all this a month ago! We need to hang out sometime, if we ever have any time off.
