I need about 1" of lift on the front of cart
I have a 2003 EZGO cart with a factory 4" Premium TXT Lift Kit and need about a inch more of lift in the front end to get the cart sitting level and to keep the 23x10x12's from rubbing the fenders. Does anybody have any suggestions on lifting the front end up another inch?

Can block between the spring and body be square tubing or does it need to be a solid block? I know I can get some square tubing at Lowes but I don't know where I could find some solid blocks.

Solid block. It will also need a hole drilled in it for the leaf spring hole. You can get it at a local Fastenal if you have one. I used 1 1/4" square solid steel. I think it was 3" long also.

Looks a little low in the back, too. If you only add to the front, then you're going to be off in the "looks" department.
Did you add a full set of Heavy Duty leaf springs (front and rear) when you installed the lift kit? |

(DoubleTake) Does Fastenal cut the blocks for you or do they have stock that you can buy and cut yourself?
(mikesmotortoys) No it still has original springs. I was kinda afraid to put heavy duty springs on because some of the complaints that I have read about them making the cart ride rough. I already have a vibration from a tire being out of round. |

You will want HD leafs, but yes Fastenal will cut the stock.

Re: I need about 1" of lift on the front of cart
I found a fastenal store near by and will be there in the morning. Thanks for the tip. Will I need HD springs in the front also after I put the spacers in? I plan on ordering rear springs in the next week.

Re: I need about 1" of lift on the front of cart
I would do the springs all the way around and skip the spacer...
