LIfted Golf Cart Tie Rod Ends
Just curious I just bought a Lifted 2001 EZGO TXT and I think it needs Tie Rods because it is flopping and steering very loose. Has anyone had any experience with this.....wondering if you need a special tie rod for a lifted golf cart or if a standard tie rod for EZGO ...if they make 2 such different ones....hmmmm

Re: LIfted Golf Cart Tie Rod Ends
Floppy and loose? doubt it's bad tie-rod ends on a 2001, best to check everything is tight by wiggling the tie rods. Then check your toe-in by picking out a spot on the tire's tread and measure from wheel to wheel at front of the tires, then wheel to wheel at rear of tires, the front should be turned in 1/4" (less in front than back) that will take the slop out of the steering.
To adjust you will have to break the lock nuts loose and turn tie-rods in or out. |
