New rim 'offset'
In the car world, this is called backspacing, i.e.: the distance from the inside edge of the rim (tire bead area) to the machined area that mates to the hub.
I just wanted to check and make sure that in the context of golf carts, offset is the same thing. I see both 10" and 12" rims listed, most of which have a 2+5 for 7" wide rims or 2+6 for 8". This would mean that from the plane where the wheel meets the hub, 2" of the tire are on the inside and 5 or 6 are on the outside, correct? Jeez I hope that makes sense, I tend to ramble on sometimes. |

Re: New rim 'offset'
Yeah I am from the car world too, so 2+5 means 2" of backspacing
