I have a 48 volt 4 wheel drive 2003 bad Boy buggy ( Dont laugh Please)
I have the 4 wheel drive bad boy buggy and I have been told a bad speed control box- the red box I have, I have been told is no longer in Business
So what I have IS two 15 hp good motors, 8 new batteries- how would you go about rebuilding this cart? There are too many good parts on this cart to get rid of. There is a big disagreement on the speed controller if its a 800 or 1000 unit I have been told BBB are unique in wiring- ( a nice way of saying they suck?) so why not just start over and make it as simple as possible?- Rewire it? Does anybody have a wiring schematic to start with? or suggest? Calling BBB is not an option- they are not fun to play with or they dont play well with others- LOL This Buggy has got me more places than most would ever believe and the buggy keeps me active- I can not believe the stuff you all build- WOW Thanks Chris I have used this cart to get out in the woods- I am a former Rugby player and Referee- I need both knees replaced, left hip, left ankle and left shoulder- Without this cart- its sit on the porch time- and that sucks Any suggestions would be greatly aprreciated |

Imaginative engineering (something along those lines) make a single motor 4wheel drive system....maybe sell one of those motors and use the other for the 4wheel drive system? Then you could wire it as a regular DC cart...just get a new 700 amp controller if the one you already have won't work without the other

OK- I can imagine the simpler solution, as you wrote, I just cant imagine the 1 motor four wheel Drive?
Right now each axle has a motor- does anyone have a 4 wheel single motor configuration, that I may see pictures? I have only 43 acres I run on, but we have some little hill and creeks- I bet I would get a lot longer battery life? Now this is sounding better all the time- Simple is very good |

WOW! thank you
I haven't gone over to the pricelist page yet, This set up looks extremely Cool! So I have to decide- get new Speed controller or completely remove BBB drive system and buy this System? IT will come down to money as everything does thanks again Chris |
