Club Car Stretch......Started
I have finally decided to stretch our cart. Its an lifted 86 Gas Club Car.
Heres what I started with.. I clamped on some 1/4 X 2 flat bar on the out sides to keep it the right distance. I will be stretching it 33". I'm going to use 2 pieces of 1/4 X 2.5. Which will sandwich and bolt to the I-beams kinda like the old Z-bracket lifts were done. I think I'm going to sandwichAngle iron between the flat bar to give me something to weld the new floor to. THis is as far as I got tonight, the wife and kids wanted to go get ice cream. I should get somemore done tomorrow. |

Re: Club Car Stretch......Started
I got a little more done this morning. The rod from the gas pedal to the engine was 1/4, and I had some 1/4 id tube. A little cutting and welding and I have the right size throttle rod.
I also got both rockers done.(except for paint) here's a couple pics. |

Nice work! Are you going to cut an old rear body and use it for the new front pod?
