Lifted E-Z-Go Project
Well, been a golf cart owner for only a month or so. This is what I created with the help of the forum, some sponsors and a lot of just screwing around with it. Just a few more add-ons and maybe I can leave her alone for a while. Started life just 3-4 weeks ago as a stock beat up '99 Medalist with body damage, stained almond paint, missing panels, chewed up seats, etc etc... You get the idea.
Now she sits here. Hope to have it completely done next week, then I gotta start figuring on power upgrade options this next winter, either a 48V conversion, or a Gas Motor. Probably going to covert and run a bike motor of some sort. Thanks to all the help from everyone on info, sources for parts, etc. Couldn't have done it as easily without the site. |

Re: Lifted E-Z-Go Project
Lame.
So is Federal Way deciding not to honor WA states NEV / LSV laws regarding street legal carts? How close is your cart to legal? ie; headlights, tail lights, seat belts? I think I'd get it close & bring the judge pics of it. |

Re: Lifted E-Z-Go Project
According to the state laws about NEV and LSVs that i have found, it has to be a registered cart, with a VIN and license plate, turn signals, brake likes, headlights, etc, etc.... Of those, i have headlights, that is it.
I don't think arguing that it's a legal LSV is even an option. |
