Default Lift the rear and not the front? Opinions? Photos?

In an effort to get a "speed buggy"/hot rod/"jacked-up" look, i'm considering a big tire/wheel in the rear and small tire/wheel combo in the front.

here's what i'm thinking.

on a cc precedent:

8x7 viking wheels in front and 10" or 12" vikings for the rear
18x8.5-8 tires in front and up to 23x10.5x12 for the rear
a 6" lift for the rear and no lift (or a 3" lift) for the front

does anyone see a problem with this set up or does anyone have photos of something similar.

i've found that wheel selection is limited because many varieties of wheels aren't available in mutli sizes. thanks for any imput!!

My Star is factory lifted, but I did stagger the tire sizes. After upgrading the wheels and tires, I just couldn't stand the empty cavity of the rear wheel well. So I went with a larger tire in the rear.

Be careful with this though, as if you have an electric cart, you want to make sure that the batteries are level when charging, or you may impact the battery life by exposing some of the parts of the plates which should be under the electrolyte. Luckily I have a slight slope where I park this and charging occurs where it's level.

I rode with this exact setup on my ezgo for a week while I finished the rest of the lift. Here are my impressions.
It is a lot more drastic than you think
Headlights point 2 feet in front of you
You feel like your falling out the front all the time
looked completely different, and I kind of liked it. So go for it, not like anything is ever permanent on these things. I had 13" wheels and 205 tire on all 4 corners. Can't even imagine if I staggered them.

Sure what the heck. One thing I would watch for is you may want to keep the rear lower than a big lift and move the shocks back to be a little stiffer. Even with a large tire on the back it might not look as 'speed rod' with a huge lift far greater than the tire needs to clear. It depends on the look you want. To me speed rod means it fits the tires even though the sizes are different, so I would lift the rear just enough to fit the tires. You will need more if you carry weight on the back due to sag. You may also have to mod the fender wells and stuff to clear the large tire more than just lifting it....its easy to just lift higher to clear inside there and most lifts do just that. In other words I'm thinking a half lifted and half tubbed look...on the other hand I made my lift so I made it just the way I wanted, and if you buy one you can't always do that.

Look at my avatar picture. the 6 " lift in the back and none on the front would be extreme IMHO, but its your build, gotta do what you envision
