95 Ezgo slide show build
It's taken me over a year to finally get enough time to finish this dang thing. Even though i was on this site almost daily learning it is pretty much what you would say "finished"... After the time consumed doing a pretty much complete custom build i must say i'm NOT going that route again or so i say as of now...So i thought i would put a start to finish pic thread together cause lord knows we all love seeing the pic progress on here!!! "this thread is worthless without pics".....
Details: 20hp Honda V-Twin...wish i woulda went Vanguard so i cld have all the mods.. Yamaha YFZ450 a-arms mounted on a from scratch built frame works.(note to all that really sucked to design and build right) Suspension wise i used some old Elka Long Travels shocks up front (which used to be my MX racing shocks)and used 2 stock YFZ450 shocks for the rear suspension. CPP was a lot of help on motor mount, clutch, and a nice tach...Now i will just shut up and let the pic's do the talking.... The day I bought it just missing the motor stripped down in my old garage..(way too small) Start to finish rear suspension: |

Start to finish front suspension:
Final design changed a little from initial design Even in the image above i changed the front end even more to build my temporary front bumper. I had to change the frame rails a little bit... |

Re: 95 Ezgo slide show build
Motor: (CPP clutch and motor mount)
Steering: Dune buggy rack and pinion (in the begining you could see Ezgo R&P and the geometry of everything would not work so i had to redesign my steering a LOT) the next picture doesn't show it but i had to build my own tie rods and build my own end load tie rod end for everything to function and not bind. |
