Default "Rocky Top Cart" long travel lift kit

First time posting, I have a 03 ez go and thinking about tring the long travel lift kit. Wondering if anyone have exprience with the "Rocky Top Carts" independent long travel kits. I noticed that their prices are lower then the rest, i dont do a lot of heavy off road, but i do a little and looking to take some of the bump out of my ride! Thanks

Wayne everybody likes to get stuff "on the cheap" but some things such as suspension & steering are not the place to cut corners (in my opinion),I would suggest that you at least check out the BGW sponsors first if you haven't already done so.I'm not knocking your vendors lift as it may be a good bang for your buck just simply giving you my take on it because I considered other cheaper lifts as well before buying an Allsports LT from CPP,good luck on your build and post up some pics.

Just look on the second line of the page header of every BGW page and click on " Site Sponsors" and it will take you to a page that has a link for each sponsor..

I got a rear seat from them off ebay. It is not as nice as others I have seen and not as nice as even the one Buggies Unlimited sells. Not sure I would buy from them again as I assume their stuff is cheaper quality.

That 7" lift with the double arms looks pretty cheezy, I recall those out long ago people were making them out of plain tubing and bolts. It would be ok for putting around if you don't go offroad. Take a look at the jakes kits to compare they are pretty nice and many places sell them. Not saying buy one, just saying note the quality and if you want cheaper you can see what you are giving up. The jakes with the adjustable height comes with shocks, its one of the best cheaper lifts last I knew. The stock shocks are so-so with a lift and if you ever put a larger motor in or like to go fast as it goes offroad you will not be happy. Mine I made myself modding the cart and it works well enough (G9), but I would not say its great...that is why you see people putting ATV front ends on and all that here. I run a lot of logging roads and they are not that rough but do have ruts/rocks/roots and it handles them well but ride does get rough at times. On the other hand it is stable this way, but considering the 12 years of use I have on it now I wish I had put a better lift on it...except I don't know if they even made them in '99 lol I could not find any. I do have 8" wheels with 22s so that gives me a little more in tire flex, but the ATV tires are not that soft and if you run them soft it slows the cart right down.

I got 3 carts around here that I installed Rocky Top lift kits on.. They are all 6" on club cars and NEVER had any issue with them. I'd buy more from them if I hadn't got set up as a dealer with the same people they get theirs from. I use those kits on every Club Car I lift. My personal cart has the 6" lift and it's been on there since 2004 and never had any problem at all out of it. Not saying some one can't screw it up, but you can't fix stupid in everyone.
