Default 96 CC gas lift question..

I am looking under my cart and dont see how I can get 6+ inches of lift in the rear with the parts shown in the kits on the internet.. If I do a spring over axle relocate it looks like my drive belt will both hit the lower engine support plate and need to be lengthened?

If any of you fine folks have a 96'ish with a 6 or more lift and wouldnt mind snappin a pic for me that would be great! I have also looked and looked and cant seem to find an install diagram anywhere either, anyone have a link to one?

Thanks for all your help.

ramchargin.. check out my build in my albums.. i think its called college education.. that cart has a 6" lift block in the rear.. and then a shackle lift..

you will need to do an axle flip and the block and all.. it will work out just fine.. no problems with the belt or anything..

Here is an install pdf for a Jakes spindle lift kit. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the link Cartman but I still for the life of me cant imagine how the axle can go under the springs and the belt not hit the pan and not have to be lengthened.
Im gonna pour over more threads today in hopes someone has a good pic of the rear lifted.

Got all 4 of my tires together also, Dunlop KT407's, 23", woo hoo! You guys think 6" lift would be ok for 23's or should I go 8?

A local golf cart retailer told me that all golf cart keys are the same, is this possible?? Picked up an universal starter switch from TSC yesterday just in case.

Hey Ramchargin; I just put a Jake's 6" on my 94 CC and the only thing that needed adjusting was the pulse line to the fuel pump. It was too short. I don't think 23's will fit as I've got 22x11x10 and they are rubbing in the rear wheel wells. I've got a single leaf that's probably a little weak and needs to be replaced or add a 4 leaf. The whole skid plate with motor lowers down.
Will try and get a pic for you.

Ram the entire engine cradle tilts with the axle.
An extra instruction, check that the oil is at the
full mark and check after the lift and remark the dipstick if needed.

i put a 6" all sports a-arm lif on a 95,, with 22x11x10 they clear everything,, no rubs at all..... everything ive read says you can use 24" with a 6" lift...

bigrztr: are your rubbing on the top of wheel well or back side
