Default need help with 93 marathon lift kit

hey guys can you help me out?
I'm installing a 4 inch drop axle lift jakes 6201 on my 93 marathon
now when i go to reinstall the tie rod crossbar it is too low
i can't install it on the top of the spindle arms due to the taper for the tie rod bolt,
and mounted below the spindles, like it was stock, it is killing the ground clearance,
Should i drill out the spindle arms, so i can mount it on top?
Sorry i dont have pictures
Thanks in advance for any advice

The only use i see for that is for when you are adjusting your tie rods. I used mine like a handle for adjusting them not sure if that it what is was meant for lol. If you are planning on using stock rims and tires you will need spacers on them or u need to go with some offset rims. I haven't gotten mine yet still in the process of rebuilding my cart.

your right, makes sense, New wheels are in the near future, gotta save up some more $$$ Got my eye on the ITP 108's in Black - Maybe 2" spacer for the rear
Whats next for your cart?

Well i've had to do alot of work on mine. It originally started out as a GTX truck with a dump bed on the back. I took the bed off but then had to fabricate a new bracket to bolt down the rear roof bar. I just finished up making a rear seat for it but still need to get vinyl for the seats and installed a stereo and cigarette lighter. I'm working now on fabricating a rear footrest and arm rest that is on hinges so it can be raised up so it will fit on a 8 foot trailer and adding brake lights. Seems like every time i go to the garage i look at it and come up with something else to add lol.

Same here
Drilled out the spindles, Mounted the tie rod bar on top and grinded off the crossbar, painted black, mucho ground clearance.
When you installed the rear blocks did your u-bolts let the nylon lock part of the nut cover the u-bolt?
I haven't got my new wheels yet - Can't wait $$

After installing my frame extension to mount full leaf springs in front, I had to stretch all my steering linkage.
