Wheel spacers
I'm sure this has been covered already, but when you guys add spacers, are you adding them all the way around or just on the front? I would think the front is more critical when trying stabilize the cart. Also, does it improve your steering at all? Thanks in advance.

Re: Wheel spacers
Same here, I put a 2003 Carryall 272 front suspension up front on mine. THe rear wheels were much narrower than the fronts. The larger rear wheels also rubbed the body . I put 2" spacers on the rear and it clears the body and now the rears are lined up with the fronts. Perfect.

Re: Wheel spacers
As long as all the wheels are even with each other I think it will be fine. IMO, it handles and steers funny when you only have them on the front or rear.

Re: Wheel spacers
Has anyone used the "lug bolt" style spacers....thinking about trying some but want some input before I spend the money.
By lug bolt I mean the spacers that thread onto your lugs between the hub and the rim. |

Re: Wheel spacers
In the interest of science, and at the risk of being laughed off the site...I admitt I put 1.5" lug nut spacers on my first cart and they held up well to moderate off road use. I had them on the rear only without any problems.

Re: Wheel spacers
I understand now, the billet spacers are the way to go. For performance and safety reasons.

Re: Wheel spacers
My cart is not lifted , but when I put 20" tires on the back I had to use spacers to clear the inside sidewall , and used billett . It may just be me but I just don't trust the stud type .
