Nothing wrong with them when they are installed for the proper reason, such as your axle and properly tightened. They've been using them on cars for over 30 years with taller coils or tweaked leaf-springs.

Just the looks of them, install on top the shocks (out of sight out of mind)

Question, how do shock extensions give you travel back?

Maybe get your lost dampening back, instead of travel. That's left up to your suspension hard parts!

Travel can be limited by the shock. If the shock is too short and can't handle the droop the suspension can, then it would stop down travel.

Commonly used with some lift kits for more travel. (or buy longer shocks = $$)

I would recommend that you take your shock off, measure the compressed and extended lengths and head down to your local O'Reillys/Napa/Car Quest and have them get their shock book out and go to the back of the book where you will find a guide that tells you all the dimensions of the shock. Take your measurements, add the lift amount to the extended measurement and find a shock that fits the bill and you have added more suspension travel along with the lift.

What I have found for the front with a 4" block lift is Monroe part number 32262 (Monro-Matic). I know Pachanga90 has the number for the rear.

Good luck
