Re: is this a good lift?
i have the 5" version for my 97 medalist (posted pics in the member's rides section, i think). I like it. obviously not as good as a long travel, but you get what you pay for.
taken it across untilled cornfields (one in the background of my pic's), and has held up great. it is an LA Concepts lift (big buggies and another seller are the ones mentioned on their website). i purchased it from a local seller of mine (gotta keep my local dealers in business, too ) got it for 200 bones |

Re: is this a good lift?
For an aftermarket lift, I was impressed with it. Probably the best spindle riser adapters I have seen (I prefer spindles with the risers built into them - ST spindles). I just pulled that exact lift off of a cart and added a long travel, I had it for sale on BGW for $125.00 and Roady89 snapped it up...

Re: is this a good lift?
that, i'm not sure of. i'm thinking 25's would work with the 7". I've got the 5" with 22's, and have plenty of room. I actually first got the 4", and 22's were the suggested size for that, so that is what I got (not to mention, got them for 150 less than what he normally sold them for, due to some surface imperfections that he didn't feel like buffing out). once i received the lift, found it was NOT for a 97 gasser, but for a newer sparky, so they got me a 5", instead.
so, clearance of wheel wells would be okay, but i'd have to defer to the other guys, if you would have rubbing (which also would depend on your wheel offset or use of spacers) and clearance in the rear of the front tire. hopefully one of the more knowledgeable guys will chirp in here. let us know how it goes!! (and get us pics) |

Re: is this a good lift?
25" is big enough. The cart I removed the same kit from had a 1" riser added to it and was running 26" tires - they rubbed the brake pedal mechanicals on a hard left turn...

Re: is this a good lift?
plus, you have to remember that you're going to have to turn these monster tires, and stop them!
