cc ds; all shackled up
Here is a good question for you club car guys. A stock gas ds shackle is about 5.5 inches. Same for my 2000 272, and a 1999 carryall I have here.
A while ago when I was at the dealer I saw a newer (2010 i think) xrt 850. This had an approx 7 inch shackle on it. I swapped a set of these onto a ds for an easy 3/4 - 1 inch of rear lift. Total cost about $20 with the shock extenders  My question is has anybody ever seen a longer one that was readily available? If this was an electric that would be easy as they are straight. But these gas carts have that annoying little offset to them. Thanks for any assistance! |

Hi! I got a number of sizes from a boat shop used on trailers. Made up my own brackets to fit and mounted some old chrome H-D Coil over Shock's on them, also made a set up with Chevy Chevet shocks. All worked out great. Joe100
