Newly Lifted Precedent Rubbing rear Tires
I have an 04 Precedent and just had a 6 inch Jake's spindle kit installed. The shop had a used set of 23x10.5x12 with Python AT tires that he said would fit.
They do fit and I like the look but the rear rubs very easily at any kind of angle even after trimming the fenders. Do you guys recommend using an add a leaf or replacing the springs altogether? I do have a rear flip seat and the stock springs are flat with maybe a bit of negative arch. |

Re: Newly Lifted Precedent Rubbing rear Tires
I could be wrong here, but I believe that precedents need the heavy duty rear spring mounted on them to keep them from rubbing the rear fender well, especially with 23" tires mounted on them.

Re: Newly Lifted Precedent Rubbing rear Tires
Heavy duty springs are usually added when installing a rear seat. Also welding the brackets to the differential helps keep it from twisting when taking off or braking unlike just U bolts.
