Really tho we have a 33ft travel trailer and a golf cart and I could never have come up with a way to take both in one trip / truck. That is just the first thing that came to mind.

Buy a long-bed?Someone needs math help or a SawZallSeriously though, its' not gonna happen in a short-bed(5-1/2'-6-1/2').They just (just)fit in a long-bed(8' bed). You could build a bed extension just as wide as the cart, that will give you some room on the sides for turning-radius on the trailer, providing the tongue is long enough that everything will clear. The other option is a ramp-insert in the bed so that the cart goes up the rear of the cab.Hope this helps.

Cammee71, I take my TG off anyway cuz I have seen what happens when those steel support cables break. Not pretty. I either put the TG in the camper, back seat or leave it home. If you could get the cart high enough in the bed, the gate would close but that is a lot of weight high. IMO it would mess up the towing of the camper and be really dangerous. Your call.

Have a hitch put behind your camper and pull small trailer. That's what we are gonna do this year. May look like a train but its better than trying to load our cart in my lifted 4x4

You had better check state laws before doubling-up trailers. Most states don't allow double-trailers,or it may also fall under a CDL-License endorsement that you may have to get first.I would also be careful with the rear-mount hauler-platforms on the back of a travel-trailer.Those have been mentioned here and that puts a lot of tail-weight on,and removes your tongue-weight.Hope this helps.

i am able to put the golf cart in the back of the truck and have the TG off and the cart tires rest on the end of the bed, but the back of the cart hits the electric tonge jack when the truck is on lower ground and the trailer is on higher ground.(like when your going into a gas station). also i live in florida and your not allowed to do the train thing. iand i dont understand what u mean kgsc. how would i get it higher?

Sorry to be an a**hole but this is a terrible idea... Not going to be safe anyway you do it without doubling the trailers witch you said you can't do legally

Can you use a hitch extension like if you had a big camper on the truck? This might allow you to tow with the tailgate open.
