Will I have a brake issue after lifting(Precedent)
I'm new here and new to carts so please be easy on me if this is trivial. I could not find definitive answers on the search function......
I just bought an 2007 CC Precedent this past weekend. I also just ordered the All Sport 6" A-Arm lift with the heavy duty rear springs today. A few hours after I ordered, I ran across one forum post that said I will probably have brake issues with a cable after I lift the cart. Is this true and something I need to worry about? If I need something else to make this project right, I will order it. Just looking for your expert opinions....... Rev |

im no CC expert but you should be fine. Your may need to adjust them once you get it lifted but that should be it

I have a cc precedent and to my knowledge there wasn't an issue with the brakes when it was lifted.

I have a DS CC 6" lift 23" tires 12" wheels takes a little more travel to stop but no problem I flipped my brake drums on opposet sides which put the cables on the top of the drum instead of the bottom it works for me. Good luck with yours, Joe

The lift will reduce the slack in the cables. I did same thing as Joe100 to shorten the distance.
