Default Tires....

Man, I am pullin my hair out tryin to decide on a tire for my cart once I lift it up...

I want to go another route than the "All Trail" look. Something a lil' more aggresive but not so freaky that I loose teeth when rollin in tha hood.

It just seems that everything I find that I like is either too big (over 23") or too aggresive (Gorilla tires). I like this one here but they are proud of it... Mucho dollareos.

CB,

I have Sahara 22-11-12s Classic ATs on two carts and I am pleased. They are fairy quiet on pavement and still bite pretty well in the dirt. Not cheap but not too bad. Got my last set from one of the sponsors here and they took care of me since I bought 4.

Good luck

Carlisle 489 or Trail Wolf will be my choice when I lift the G9. I put the cheapest wheel/tire combo on my G1... Won't make that mistake again.. Look those tires up and see what you think

Check out Carlisle Trail-Pro,They are a fairly aggresive tread, but close enough for yard/street use without rattling your fillings loose(look at the Right-Rear on my cart in pics).I've got ITP589's on my quad, they are nasty-aggresive but still good-manered on-road(been 60+ down our road on em!).

Prices will vary I'm sure, but I priced the Carlisle 489 in a 22x10-10 today and was told $86 each, and that was a 3 ply. Never heard of a 3 ply, but that's what the Carlisle web site said.

Also priced a 6 ply Swamp Fox 22x10-10 at a local ATV dealer and was told $56. This is not the real heavy tread Swamp Fox where the lugs are over an inch deep. So I figure I'll get good traction, but not a real rough ride.
