MOTHER OF PEARL!!! Lift install problem...
I hope I'm just stupid, cause if not I'm gonna be pi$$ed.
Just received my 6" A-Arm from AllSports for my '07 CC Precedent and couldn't wait to start installing it. Got the front end all tore out and am ready to install the main a-arm portion of the lift usuing the "bolts provided" as per instructions... The **** hex heads will not clear the leaf spring running in-between the 4 holes that I need to put them into.... WTF? Is it me or am I missin' some bolts? I wanna cry. |

I would wait to see what others say who have maybe installed it, otherwise call Allsports in the morning and talk to them about it.
Wait, did you happen to be installing heavy duty springs at the same time? |

When you ordered the kit did you tell them that you had heavy duty springs? If not then this is the reason, there kits only come with normal bolts unless you specify with them that you are installing on heavy duty springs.

Re: MOTHER OF PEARL!!! Lift install problem...
Yeah but the HD springs are in the rear. I'm just workin on the front end.... This is what they call the a-arm carrier or assembly with their pre-drilled holes and supplies bolts. The assembly lines up perfectly with the factory "tow bracket" but the heads on the bolt wont clear the spring.

Oops, sorry about that, I would call them in the morning just to clarify, unless someone chimes otherwise.
