Star Electric Vehicles
Does anyone know anything a company that builds lifted buggies by the name of Star? I am trying to figure out which manufacturer (EzGo, CC, Yamaha, etc) they build their buggies off of. Thanks for any info you all may have on them.
Oh, and the buggy I'm trying to get more info on is the Star Stalker. Thanks! |

Re: Star Electric Vehicles
Look for carts made in China, they are flooding electric carts/tiny cars to the US right now and likely where it comes from. Finding parts for them can be a problem.
Take a look: http://www.alibaba.com/trade/search?...ewAllCategory= Start searching that site and you will freak out. They make everything there from mini hummers to gas engine skateboards to subwoofers. |

Re: Star Electric Vehicles
Have you tried Google? Looks like there are quite a few dealers out there. But $12k for a golf cart?! What a ripoff.

I believe they may get their carts from Suzhou Eagle Electric Manufacturing and apply some mods once it arrives in the US. Here's the link: http://www.ecvv.com/product/2539922.html |

Re: Star Electric Vehicles
i help a friend who has a small motorcycle/ATV shop, he gets new china bikes and ATVs in to sell also, my advise, stay away, I've assembled close to a hundred china bikes/ATVs, talk about cheap week plastic and low quality steel,
never mind the lack of parts availability, even after all that, people still come asking about china ATVs, and he still sells all he can get. |

Re: Star Electric Vehicles
purchased one used...great looking a pretty fast. no abuse what so ever and then died. local golf cart company still trying to locate parts, and been over a month not to mention 1500 dlls plus. My recommendation is stick to the well know brands: Yamaha, EZ GO, Club Car...easy fix with plenty of parts. Will sell as soon as it gets back. Hope this helps.
