Default Precident Lift-Kit Opinions

Hello all,we just bought a 05' club car precident 48V with a flip-over rear seat and i want to put in a small lift kit and change the tires. My use for the cart is for around the campground and to go fishing,sight-seeing so i thought a 4" lift-kit would do the trick however here are my questions=

1- Wich kit should i buy?
2- Wich wheels/tires should i buy?
3- Am i better off buying from the USA than Canada?
4- I am a master carpenter with limited mechanical skills however i do have all the tools,is this project beyond my abilities?

Thanks in advance for all your opinions!!!

All it takes is a little imagination,
some mechanical ability, and neighbors
who mind their own business.

I would recommend jakes lift kit or all sports that are best quality
10" wheels at least 22" tires wheel and tire your choice depending on how you use it me I cam as well and went with a tire that worked on grass and asphalt
buy from who ever is closer to save shipping jakes is a Jake no matter were you get it
as far as your skill level its pretty easy there are videos on you tube to help
I will make one suggestion to you based on my experience if it is a precedent use an A arm lift kit its a little more up front($374) but in the end will save you a lot of money in the end spindle lifts work on every other cart but in order to keep from rebuilding your front end and replacing bent parts and worn tires from the lack of any adjustment on the front end I don't ride mine rough but I bent king pins and upper control arms and wore out bushings repeatedly before I changed I over now I just enjoy it. I am sure somebody will disagree but after dumping near a grand down the drain before the switch that's my suggestion a arm lift by jakes it does replaced almost all OEM front end parts
