Default What I bought instead of GC. Need tire help

I was going to buy a golf cart, and ended up buying a Menards yardsport:

Thier $3000 new, but I had a 15% off coupon and saved $450. I was looking at $2600 for a 2006 Yamaha, so I opted for this, as it seems to be a glorified golf cart anyways ( and I was able to extend the warranty to 3 years for $160 ). I liked that it was already lifted, had disc brakes, and loved that it had a exo-skeleton and roll-cage which means I dont have to use a helmet in my state. It's got a 150cc GY6 4 stroke motor. I was able to test drive one before purchase, and it had enough guts to get me ( 295# ) and a salesman ( 245# ) up to 25 mph pretty quick.

Now for the tire option. I took it out on it's maiden voyage yesterday, and had to go through about 2" of wet, heavy snow for about 30 yards. The rears just spun like crazy, but got me through. The front steering washed out completely. You can see the tread in the photo above. They look to be turf saver type tires. I dont plan on doing any mud/snow/sand unless it's in the way on a trail I'm exploring. I will be mostly on dirt/gravel roads and hard packed dirt trails. A little 1/2 pavment 1/2 dirt while I'm riding down the county road heading to some dirt. Tire sizes on it now are 22x11x10 rear and 20x7x8 front. I am looking at purchasing these:
Rear:
Dunlop KT765 ATV Tire $50

Front:
Maxxis M9207 Pro ATV Tire $42

They both are 2 ply ( I know 4 ply would be better ).

Your thoughts?

Looks like it should be in the side by side section? Not lifted GC?

About the only tire you will have any luck with in snow is a paddle. I would hold off on replacing the ones you have until you see how they do on the other trails.
But then again, those other tires look very nice. throw a bag or two of sand in the back and try not to spin the tire.

I have 22-11-10 Mud Lites on my workhorse. We had a late 3" wet heavy snow and I had no problems. Even tried a couple 8" or 10" deep spots. Unfortunately it sounds like they may be too aggressive for what you want. Mine never see concrete.

The one I saw sitting in my Menards had a set of chains on it. If snow is going to be the only real tough spot you'll get in, maybe a set of chains come next winter and get by with what you have for now.

Its made in USA by American Sportworks. Chineese knock-off of a famous Honda motor though. Still, came with 1 year warranty and as I stated, was able to purchase an additional 2 year warranty for $160. Once warranty is gone, there are parts galore for the GY6 1500cc motor.

Its not a true sidexside. It really is a glorified golf cart, so I posted it here.
