Too much camber after lift installation
I installed a RHOX 6" lift and 10" wheels/tires on my 2001 Yamaha G16. I now have an excessive amount of camber. The installation instructions indicated to attach the shock to the third hole in from the outboard end of the A arm (there are four holes). Would moving the shock to the innermost location improve things or is there something else wrong?

Re: Too much camber after lift installation
did you take it out and drive it? if not try driving it and see if the shocks/suspension settle down. when I put the lift in my g9 I had the same problem until I drove it out of the shop.

Re: Too much camber after lift installation
Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I have driven it. It pulls to the left a little but I can see that the left wheel needs to be toed in a little. Otherwise it drives and rides fine. I've read on some of the threads about possible weak shocks but I doubt that is the case. Though a 2001 model it had very little use and is like brand new.

Re: Too much camber after lift installation
Is it possible you got the spindles mixed up? they will fit side to side but the camber will be way off. the bore in the spindle is machined at an angle. just a thought.

No, it was pretty obvious which piece fit which side so i don't think that was it.

Re: Too much camber after lift installation
Don't know what a RHOX is, but try the second hole from the outside, and make sure the toe-in is at an eighth inch in.

Re: Too much camber after lift installation
Dont know what brand lift you have but I recently installed a Long Travel on my Ez Go and did everything the instructions said but still had to much negative camber had to adjust it twice after driving it.
Do you have a way to adjust the camber? |

Re: Too much camber after lift installation
There are four holes on the control arm. The installation instructions said to install the lower shock at the third hole from the outside. This results in a / \ situation. Moving it outboard one hole makes it worse and moving into the inner most hole leaves it with a \ / condition. There are no other available adjustments. The brand is RHOX.

Re: Too much camber after lift installation
I'm going to guess that you have a Jakes knock off, with the shock mount tabs welded on in the wrong place.
