I have also order a set up Honda 400 Ex shocks for the front, Also planing on running stock XJ arms up front. also I might be doing hydro steering... I am going to do a rear engine in this thing. So tomorrow I will be welding up the breather hole so i can flip the axles.

http://www.harborfreight.com/engines...ine-68306.html ?? with some kinda small auto trans hooked to it some way??

Something like this??

I don't know about the trans, but wow what a cool build. I put one of those clones in the 420 used to be called the 16hp, sometimes 15hp. Its just a stroker version of the 13hp/390cc a copy of the old honda engine. They were $380 last time I shopped even cheaper at another place. I got mine at carolstream but the air cleaner is cheap. Anyway it has about double the torque of a stock cart, but does not like to rev much higher for speed. It will spin 22s up hills and the stock cart crawls and barely makes it, check out the clones section. Cut the secondary sheave that will help with bottom end power it gives a lower gear taking off.

Like to see you go with the biggest engine you can afford, that drivetrain can handle it. Please keep us posted on the build

A 35hp B&S would be nice, or that big v-twin Kawasaki.
