Default Rim size for non-lifted ezgo

New to ownership! I have a 2010 ezgo rxv and wanted to install some 12-14 inch rims. Do I need a lift kit for this size? Any information on this topic would be appreciated.

Welcome to BGW!

What size tires are you planning for those wheels? If you are going low-profile you should be fine. If you want the big nobby tires, a lift will be required.

Low profile. I just have no reason to lift the cart with the larger rims/tires. So as long as I stay low profile on a 12 inch, I'll be ok? Thanks Again

The deciding factor is the DIAMETER of the MOUNTED TIRE. Stock tire diameter is 18+ inches, usually 20 inches will clear a stock suspension.

Anyone ever calculate the speed difference for larger diameter tires? I want to go faster but don't really want a lift. I also don't like how the lift pushes the front tires forward.

MPH= RPM x TIRE RADIUS / GEAR RATIO x 168
