03 DS Super Sport Lift Wheel Spacing

I can finally post in the lifted section! First lift install.

I installed an AS Super Sport lift on my 2003 CC DS this weekend. I had no idea I would need spacers.

Buggie will be mainly used off road. What size spacers would you guys recommend?

Looking at the pic you could probably get away with 1" spacers, but not sure, I had the same lift on my CC, but did not have the problem you are having, and these were on 23" tires on 12" rims.

Husker maybe the offset of the rims had something to do with it. I believe my rims are offset 3+4.

By chance do you remember what the offset of your rims were?

I was looking at another club car build with the same lift and it seemed that member had the same problem before spacers.

Mine are 3+4 on the same lift kit i have no clearance issues, it doesnt look like yours are offset.

If you have enough thread on your lug nuts i would just stick a washer or two behind the wheel, doesnt look like you need much.

Kidder You have to forgive my newbness here as this is my first lifted cart project.

You are the second person to tell me the rims don't look offset.

Maybe I should mention the tires are : 22x11x10 on 10x7 rim

They sure dont look like it by the pics. I know on mind and a few others that i have done have plenty of clearance. Put a straight edge on your wheel then measure to the center, that will tell you if they are offset.

Well I bought some 1" spacers from CPP. The tires really balloon around the rims. I was looking at pics of similar setups, and the majority have tires that really dont balloon around the rims as much as mine.

I had a nice chat with Tom at CPP and I think we have it worked out.

My wheels were the Rockstar, 3+5 offset 2.65" center.. It looks like the spacers should help you out.
