Default Cart Build ??s

Ok, Im building a cart for my dad and its main use will be around the house, ranch. Never a golf course. (doesnt play). It will be driven long periods of slow and fast. What would be the best cart to go with out of either CLUB CART or EZ-GO. He wants 48v. ( I have been trying to learn on here about regen and series, still a little confused) The cart will be a 4 seater with the flip flop rear seat, 6"-8" lift with 23-10.5-12. I know what rims I want but other than that the CART, LIFT are undecided. I would like to buy all aftermarket things from site sponsors.

Thanks for any help,

Cody

If you are buying a older used cart, club car will be only choice for 48 v from factory. Ezgo's just went with 48v a couple years ago.

Ok thanks, will do.

I have decided on the ezgo to start with. Which ones are the best to get. PDS? year? How do I tell the difference from series to regen? I will be craigs list shopping...( any way to tell from pics??) Is it that big a difference b/w the two?. I have searched many of the threads on this forum for along time now but am still a little confused on some the items mentioned above.

Thanks for any help, Cody

Being lifted i would say a series cart, series will have the f&r lever by your right leg, pds will be a rocker switch on the dash.

OK I hv read this forum for another 7 straight hours. Good use of a sunday lol with a messed up leg. I will be buying a cart here pretty soon. I now understand the difference b/w series vs sepex and which year has the better steering and to stay away from I think dcs cart. Think thats what its called. This forum is very helpful and thanks for all the answers. I know yall say get a series but im probably going to get a pds and build it up, all sport 8" long travel, 26" tires, 12" rims, rear seat and all the other pretty stuff. For the next 7 hours I will search craigs list for the new cart. Then start performance build. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ addicting

Thanks again,

Cody

you need to talk to scotty, he knows his stuff whether you buy from him or not. but i don't think you will want a pds if you are lifting a lot, although i think chevy did it.

oh, and welcome to BGW.
