Precedent lift question
Hey guys this is the Precedent that I picked up the other night. Is it me or do the front wheels look odd? Almost like they are angled way too much......?

Re: Precedent lift question

Re: Precedent lift question
Yeah I determined that the toe needed adjusted after looking at it more. How do you adjust the camber on these? I will try to get a better pic of the wheel tomorrow.

Re: Precedent lift question
Yea, hard to tell from this picture, but the camber might not be adjustable on that particular lift.......
These pictures can be deceiving also. Look at my profile pic, it looks toe'd out also, but both toe and camber are right where they are supposed to be......... Rev |

Re: Precedent lift question
Yeah, it may not be. It's one of those Rough Country lifts. Seems to be noisy when turning. Should the front wheels be 90 degrees to the ground or do they angle on these a little? Seems like when I back up they straighten up and then going forward they look kind of goofy with the camber. Just don't want to wear the tires out.....

Re: Precedent lift question
I think the drop spindle with the mono leaf does do some funky things like that. Kind of like my F250 with its twin I-beam front suspension. It does the same thing....
I believe on mine, they are not at a true 90 degree. I believe the specs showed a half inch(measured at the rim, to the ground with a square) off of true 90. Rev |

Re: Precedent lift question
Lol...... I was thinking the same thing as pissed around for a couple hours. It's either toe in or out...no happy medium! I can't seem to get the camber to straighten up either. Is there a trick to getting both sides set with that adjustment bolt?
Took the bumper off too. It was broken that is why it was crooked. Looks tough now!! |

Re: Precedent lift question
I've never tried to adjust one of the drop spindle kits. The A-arm kit is very easy and straight forward........
