Rear lift EZ-Go
I am currently lifting my 1997 electric EZ-Go and have completed the front end but am confused on the rear end lift. I bought an All-Sports 5" lift. The instructions are very well written for the front end but the rear lift has only a picture that's hard to make out. can someone point me in the right direction as to how to lift the rear end of my golf cart? thanks.

Re: Rear lift EZ-Go
What are you planning with the cart, if you go with a rear seat kit I would recommend that, if you are just lifting it that is up to you. If you get new rear leaf springs then get new bushings at the same time.

Re: Rear lift EZ-Go
I appreciate the pics. I think I will wait on the leaf springs and for now just try to get the lift in the right place. I wish there was a step by step instructions for it but any pic is very helpful. thanks

Re: Rear lift EZ-Go
Take your time and you will be fine, btw disconnect your batteries from the controller etc, this will prevent an accident. When you work on flipping the axle, it will tend to role forward and if the batteries were still hooked up,,,, well I think you get the idea.

Re: Rear lift EZ-Go
flipping the axle? not sure what that means. I hope it doesnt mean actually removing it and flipping it 180 deg.

Re: Rear lift EZ-Go
"Flipping the axle"
When you look at your stock cart the axles are above the leaf springs... now look at Marks pics and notice he has 'flipped' the axles underneath of the leaf springs and added spacers. |
