Very unfriendly site
I've been tuned into this site for a long time but not a member until just a few weeks ago. I want to air something from my heart before i depart. Many of the people on this site are narrow minded and rude. Because i bought my cart new and will take the mods from there....i am less of a man...not deserving of a response....have no skills...boy, you name it. I am 50 years old and worked the oil field, air conditioning...i am mechanical......i'm also tired. I am tired. Hear me? Been there, done that...got my t-shirt. I've built...torn down, rebuilt...lived by hard knocks and the courage it takes to be an american man. Not just carts...life. I went out and helped people in my area suffering from wildfires today.....what did you do?

Re: Very unfriendly site
I helped folks with their carts. I didn't ask for a pat on the back, and don't expect one. Just wanna help within the hobby I have chosen. Sorry you're finding it difficult.

Not sure what happened or what question you did not get answered, but sometimes threads get missed. Good Luck

Re: Very unfriendly site
Try to understand TEXASFISHINGMAFIA guy that most of the members here are not well off enough to dump one cart off of a trailer and buy a new replacement. They are working men with families who incomes don't match that type of financial activity. We have little or no experience with NEW carts and are busy modifying what we have managed to procure.
Sorry we fell short of your expectations, good luck on the OTHER golf cart forums and don't let the door hit you in the arse |

Re: Very unfriendly site
Wow I disagree!
I am a total noob to carts. In a years time I have learned so much about my carts from the powers that be on this site. Without this place my buddies and I would be lost. I have checked out the other cart forums and this forum is the best imo. Just remember I'm sure the guru's on this site that are answering everyone's questions, also have lives outside of this forum. If someone said something about your new cart that you found offensive, just block them. There are plenty of good people on this site. One thing I noticed is patience is key when you ask a question on here. |

Re: Very unfriendly site
Wow... Where did this come from?
I just went through your posts and didn't see anything "narrow minded" or "rude", I did see that you would like an additional lift on your most recent cart, and yes... no one answered within 24 hours... probably because it was Fathers Day! And FYI... I also bought my cart new, and have another 5K into it, I don't care if people think I'm nuts!!! I'm proud of my cart... and you should be proud of yours too!!! my .02 |

Re: Very unfriendly site
Straighten up worm! I felt the same way when I first joined, Thing is not many know about these new carts but knowledge is being made everyday. I bought my 09 ST new in 09 and have been pretty much on my own since. I have totally rebuilt it once and have been through the complete driveline a few times so I could get it just right. I may have missed your post so what do you need and what cart do you need if for? I actually look for questions about the newer carts so I can offer a little help if I can.
