cheap lift kits .... loose spindles?
**before i start, let me say i bought the cheapest kit i could find**
it is a 6" a-arm lift kit that came with HD rear springs for 225$ for my club car DS 2002 after installation, i find that there is play in the spindles. i mean the vertical 10" spindle that is mounted with an 11" bolt. there seems to be about 1/16" play in there. its almost like all the bolts in the lift kit are 1/16 or 1/32" undersized. *I have yet to pack the spindles with grease, but i dont think its the grease's job to take up that slack, is it? |

Re: cheap lift kits .... loose spindles?
try to find some plastic bushing to put in there.. like thin conduit..
i had to do this on a trailer a few years back with some pvc and it worked great. Or try a bolt supply and see if the two bolts you can replace with beefy ones... Bolt supply usually have a good assortment of bushings too and no grease wont take up the void.. some but not near what you describe |
