Cool CCDSG, Bulck 6"A-arm...help setting toe

I'm trying to set the toe after I installed the lift kit, Bulck 6"A-arm, but it seems like my tie rod is too long to pull the tire rears in enough- unless I remove the locking nuts on both ends I can't screw the tie rod ends in far enough to get it short enough to draw the back of the tires in- I need to pull them in about the 3/4 of an inch. Do I need a shorter tie rod? Its a 2000.0 CCDSG. Did I do something wrong? I bought the kit on ebay and the directions are sorely lacking. The seller actually whited-out something about a "shorter drag sleeve" that was suppossed to be included in the kit to correct the "steering problem", but although they whited-out that part, they screwed up by including a correct set of instructions which mentions this part- I asked for it and they tell me I dont need it or get it in the kit- do I need this part? Is this the problem why my tie rod bar is too long? I hear some call the tie rod bar also a drag link (therefore the cart has a one short and one long drag link? one for steering and one that's actually the tie rod?). Originally they took my money without sending the kit or answering 3 "where is it" phone calls- then they claimed that their incoming shippment was lost (although it was in stock when I bought it). OK, am I being scammed or am I doing something wrong? Can I run the tie rod with no nuts to lock down the joints, with the ball joints in as far as they go? Or do I need this part? Any ideas why it seems too long? Trying to smile- Hittman290

It may be helpful to post some pictures here. That will give people an idea of what lift you have, and if you may possibly need to find a shorter tie rod. You could also measure the toe and post where your steering is at now. Hope this leads to some help!

Thanx, I think I have it figured out. Sadly,I found out it's chinese knock off (theft) of an All Sports a-arm. Not my first choice had I known it.
