Best road tires 23" for 14" wheels Sahara Classic?

I really wanted a road tire, but I can only find a low profile tire that will accomodate a 12" wheel. I am set on a 14 wheel and 23" tire, because I don't want to see a huge gap froma 6" lift kit. Any suggestions on how a Sahara Classic holds up for road use everyday?

Those are AWESOME!!! Where did you find them? Are they considered an all terrain tire, or a street tire? Also are they 23" or 22"? I really like the tread pattern. Very nice! Like your weels, too!

The tires you lke above are Vision VX tires. They are DOT rated and are suppose to be good on and off the road. You can find them on Ebay. They come in 20,21, 23 inch by 10 1/2. They may come in more sizes but i'm not sure. I was thinking of getting them for my cart but I want a 22x10.5x12.

Thanks Lurch and Dmax! I like the tread pattern, I found them, but the only problem is the only fit a 12" wheel. I was hoping to get a 14" wheel. I may have to go down in size for the wheel since the tire is much better than the sahara.

I've been running my 23" Sahara's on 14" wheels for a little over a year. They're actually holding up pretty well.

I have Sahara Classics and we ride about 15 to 20 miles 2 or 3 times a week, I keep them at 12 psi and i can still see the little raised dots (i dont want to use the other word t--s). they are about a year and a half old.Hope this helps you.
