Default How do you put car rims on lifted carts?

I keep seeing golf carts with car rims on them. Most are anywhere from 18" to 22" car rims. How is that possible? What has to be done to make this happen? There are several videos on youtube of golf carts done this way, and many 4-wheelers too? Any of you know how?

Most car wheels that I've seen on carts have the Pontiac logo. Looks like they bolt right on with no adaptors?

Thank you! So does it mean that they have to be a 4 on 4 lug pattern only? I found some that I LOVE, but I am not sure about the lug pattern. I will go back and check on that.

You can do an internet search for wheel adapter manufacturers and have a set made to change the 4 on 4 inch golf cart pattern to what ever you like. If you have a local machine shop they may be able to make you a set as well, but going this route may be a bit more expensive.

Hmmm...this reminds me that I have some old 14", 4 bolt steel wheels from my 1989 BMW 325i! I wonder........

I checked my Kosei 15" with low profile Dunlops and I think they would fit (about 22"). My stock wheels with radials would be too tall (about 24"). Weight would be an issue with teh stock wheels as they are aluminum but heavy. The Kosei's are lightweights and might be OK? Problem is, they are mounted to my E30 BMW LOL and in storage.
