jakes lift
I am doing a jakes lift whats the correct way to install the steering ext. should they point out or should they point in wards

I was told by jakes i have the old style and needed to buy new steering ext. and king pins, I have the parts no instructions. ok I now have everything back together but the steering ext. are hitting the shock mounts and i have no steeriing.....

It may be helpful to post some pictures of what you have so that others can identify any possible issues. A piture is worth, well i'm sure you know the rest. Good luck with resolving your clearance issues!

You will have to buy newer style a-arms to run a wheelbase extension, depending on what year you have. Also there is a step by step instructions with the extension kit. You will have to cut off the shock mounts and install the newer ones as picture shows.

Thanks guys, I got it I didnt have to cut. I ended up having the spacer on the bottom and now im good.....
