My first full frame up Ez Go lift build
Well I'm starting a new project. I got a Sh*t box (Trashed 89 Ezgo) in a trade that has a yamaha 433cc snowmoblie engine in it. I got it running and its scary fast on the pavement, but like i said its trashed. So I figured its time I build a nice lifted buggie.
Parts I have in the garage: 94+ frame metalist body 94-00 front end Things I'm using off the Sh*t Box Yamaha motor Rearend Things I'm looking to buy Strech plastics long travel A-arm front end 14" wheels Maxxis Ceros tires And the otherr odds and end that I'll need Things I'll build Cage Rear lift and engine craddle And whatever else I can build instead of buying The Sh*t Box Some of the parts I have I think I'm hooked |

Looks like a long, hard project. I would say you caught the addiction. Good luck with the build and keep the pics coming.

Nah..... I'm shooting to have it rolling by Oct/Nov time and totally done by march... I work on things like a mad man for a awhile and let off for a couple weeks and back at it.. I want to have it done for next car show season and make a trailer to pull the bagged cart on... I think it would be funny to roll in to the show with a cart towing a show cart

Got some stuff done on the rear, need to finish weld alittle.
I wish I could find a 94+ rear so I'd have reverse, but what I got will do. |

Re: My first full frame up Ez Go lift build
It's suppose to be like a long travel that I've seen, it would also need a set of 16" shocks too,but I'm no happy with it. I'll be changing it when my new dies for my bender get here.... Being that the engine cradle has only one pivot point the side bar have to have a give when they move up or down. So the bar off the frame will move front and back when the axle goes up and down. The shocks are mounted out close to the wheels and pitched it to the center of the axle to keep the side to side movement to a minimal sway, that is I think so.
