Default New to forum!!! 1999 G16 build, what do you think?

I bought this cart on a whim in October 2010. I've been viewing this site since November 2010, but have yet to post any pics of my build. So far I've done all mods myself. I've installed a Jake's 6 inch lift, rear seat, K&N air filter, gas filter, speed spring, removed governor (30MPH), front and rear seat belts, rear hitch, 12 inch rims x 23 inch tires, rocker panels, fender flares, Sony marine stereo, painted roof supports and rear seat frame. Currently I have speed sprint, yet to be installed. I tried but can't do it myself. Some things are meant to be done by professionals. The wifey was pissed, and I mean PISSED, when I bought this home but now loves family cart rides. I fave 3 daughters who totally dig the cart and bringing their friends on rides. This is the hit of the neighborhood and I can't keep the neighborhood kids off of it. In fact, the sit on it for hours on end waiting for the next ride! This cart is great fun and I'm looking to continue the modifications. Give me suggestions!!

Questions???? When we are loaded with kids the rear tires rub the body. What fixes the sway (HEAVY DUTY rear springs)? Do wheel spacers really help the stabilization from large wheels and tires? My next step is paint, I'm thinking black to give the "blacked" out effect. And like everyone I'm looking for more power, torque, and speed. Give me feedback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks good Gray, but you can do the speed spring. Makes it alot easier if you take the body off tho. Jakes has HD springs kits for the rear, $100. and for what I understand, work very well. Wheel spacers also make the axles wider, so it is alot more stable.

All wives hate these things till we get them running, then they take them from us, and use them for there own purpose. Speaking from experience here. The kids, well, their kids and love toys!

Nice cart! Welcome to the site. It's only a matter of time before you have to build another so you and the wife each have one lol.

If you removed the governor there is no need for the speed spring.
