Question Suggestions for Club Car Lift

I have lurked for a while, but now I need some suggestions on a VERY important question.

Is a Club Car a good candidate for a lift kit? I have done some research and it appears that the Club Cars have the most lightweight suspensions of all the modern carts. What is the BEST golf cart candidate to be lifted? My buddy has a lifted EZ-GO and it looks to be very sturdy even with a high lift. It rides very well and very stable on asphalt and rough terrain.

What is the best option for lifting a 2002 Club Car DS Electric? I am trying to minimize costs but I have read that spindle lifts may not be a good way to go if off-roading is in the future. ANd I am not able to spring for the high-end long-travel style lifts. I use my cart 30% for neighborhood cruising, 60% for landscape maintenance on my small acreage, and will use it maye 10% for some rough terrain off-road cruising (no racing or high-speed running) once it is lifted.

Once you help me determine which lift option, Spindle or A-Arm, etc, is the best, then I will also need to know which brand of lift kit is the best.

Thanks for the help!

I my opinion a spindle lift would work just fine for your application. Jakes would probaly be a good one. Of course long travel a-arm would be the way to go but then your lookin at 800 to 1200 bucks.

I agree as well! thats the way to go for a good cheap lift! ive done a 98 cc with the same lift from my suppliers, and it gives you the most bang for your buck, instead of spending like 800+ on a long travel.
